Thrive Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all young people and vulnerable adults with whom we work. This policy sets out our approach to child protection and safeguarding, ensuring that all staff, volunteers, and associates understand their responsibilities and are equipped to identify and respond to concerns.

Thrive Education primarily operates in the Barnsley area. Barnsley Council holds statutory responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children within their area.

Safeguarding Responsibility

All staff have responsibility to recognise signs of abuse, report concerns immediately, follow procedures, and support vulnerable young people.

We treat all young people fairly and with respect, celebrating diversity and providing inclusive support adapted to individual needs.
